King Charles ‘will allow Harry to be working royal again’ but one thing must happen
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the UK, with the move understood to be part of a bid to rebuild their relationship with the Royal Family.

King Charles will allow Prince Harry to resume working royal duties, a royal expert has suggested – but significant groundwork must be completed before that becomes feasible.
On Wednesday evening, August 19, it emerged that after six years, Harry and Meghan Markle will return to the UK, having relinquished their working royal positions in 2020.
They are anticipated to make the transition later this month as their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, are enrolled in UK schools in September.
The Express US understands that the relocation to the UK represents the initial stage toward reconciliation with the Royal Family following the severe fallout since the Sussexes’ withdrawal from their royal responsibilities.
Since departing the UK in 2020, the couple has conducted a series of interviews, Harry has published his tell-all memoir Spare, and they have featured in their own Netflix show about their lives.

But Harry’s return to the UK is understood to be part of an effort to restore his relationship with his father, and it is believed they will leave these interviews behind them.
The King is thought to be pleased that his youngest son is coming home and is looking forward to spending more time with him and his family. However, he has made it clear that their status as non-working royals will not automatically change.
Royal expert Robert Jobson told the Express, “Long term, Harry wants to be back in the fold. That’s the only way he can really secure the money and the security that comes with being part of the Royal Family.
“Harry knows he can come back, put on his uniform, make some money, and also use that as an angle to get back into the Royal Family. He knows his father is ill and that he has limited time, so he knows he has to act now. It won’t be allowed under William, so he has to act now.”
And it’s not just Harry who wants reconciliation, according to the award-winning author, as he added, “Harry is fifth in line to the throne, and his son and daughter are sixth and seventh.
“The King will be looking at this and thinking that he doesn’t want his reign to be defined by division. He wants a strong, unified Royal Family. The reality is that there is a fractured relationship. But William would have to accept the King’s orders to fix it.
“The future of the monarchy relies on that relationship being rebuilt. But there will need to be an apology first, and it will have to be public.”
