A touching letter from Prince George and Princess Charlotte to their late grandmother, Princess Diana, has been revealed.
Princess Charlotte wrote a heartfelt letter to her late grandmother, Princess Diana.
This past Sunday, Prince William, Princess Kate, and their three children celebrated Mother’s Day. Prince George (11 years old), Princess Charlotte (9 years old), and Prince Louis (6 years old) will undoubtedly be giving their mothers many meaningful gifts. However, this day also evokes special emotions within the family, especially for Prince William – who has carried a complex burden since the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.

This bond became even more evident a few years ago when Prince William and Princess Kate decided to release the cards their children made for “Grandma Diana.” Although they never met, Prince William often told his children stories about their late mother, helping them feel as if they had known her. This naturally nurtured the affection between the children and their deceased grandmother.
Among them, Charlotte’s card touched many hearts with its innocent yet profound message: “Dear Grandma Diana, I’m thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you so much. Dad misses you very much. Love, Charlotte.” It was accompanied by a drawing of a heart and lively stickers of ballet dancers and butterflies.

That same year, Prince George also expressed his feelings through a card: “Dear Grandma Diana, Happy Mother’s Day. I love you and I will always remember you. Sending you lots of love, George.” It’s revealed that all three Cambridge brothers write cards to their grandmother on this occasion.
Not only the Prince William’s family, but many other families also celebrate Mother’s Day with heartwarming moments. In 2021, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Twitter account posted the message: “This year, Mother’s Day will be different. Many people are separated from loved ones, but look to the not-too-distant future, when we can hug our mothers again.”
