Bloodied face of mum-of-3 left with horror injuries after Rag ’n’ Bone Man’s wife smashed into family car in 60mph crash
A MUM whose car was ploughed into by Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s wife has revealed her bloodied face in the aftermath of the 60mph crash.
Widowed mum-of-three Samantha Keen and her young children were struck at speed by Zoe Graham’s Range Rover near Lewes, East Sussex.
The horror occurred as Graham, 38 – who is married to the award-winning singer – attempted to illegally overtake traffic stuck behind a tractor.
Samantha pleaded with paramedics not to leave her kids orphaned as she was cut from the wreckage of her Ford C-Max in August 2023.
Graham dodged jail after the crash, which left Samantha with a broken ankle, scarring to her face and damage to her right hip, leg and ribs.
A shocking photo has since shown Samantha covered in gashes with blood running down her face in the wake of the high-speed collision.
The graphic picture, taken by her father as she waited to be discharged from hospital, shows her suffering from shock and concussion.
The single mum – who tragically lost her husband a year earlier – still has to take anti-migraine medication for headaches and dizziness.
Her two daughters and son all have post-traumatic stress disorder after suffering cuts and bruises to their faces, heads, arms and legs.
Hove Crown Court heard Samantha’s eldest child had asked if “mummy was going where daddy was”.
Graham was running late to pick up her own three children from school in the build up to the crash.
She illegally crossed double-white lines in an attempt to overtake a line of cars stuck behind a tractor on a ‘dangerous’ stretch of road.
And Graham failed to see Samantha’s car, which was directly in her path while attempting to turn right into an animal rescue centre.
As a result, her Range Rover struck the Ford side-on, sending it spinning over the road and into a ditch, as Samantha’s children screamed in terror.
They were said to have been lucky to survive the crash – estimated at being around 55mph.
As two off-duty paramedics rushed to her car, Samantha screamed at them not to let her die and leave her children orphaned.
Graham was spared a prison sentence, much to the fury of her victim’s family who claim she has never apologised for her rash act.
Judge David Rennie instead suspended the 12-week jail sentence for 18 months after Graham admitted causing serious injury by careless driving.
A source said: “Zoe Graham has shown absolutely no remorse after the accident.
“She has never apologised or made any attempt to apologise to Samantha and her family, even when she was standing next to her stretcher in the hospital A&E department in Brighton.
“Instead she was just kicking up a fuss about wanting to leave the hospital as soon as possible and then she left before being seen by medical staff.”
Graham, who is married to the singer of the 2016 global hit ‘Human’, was also disqualified from driving for a year for the crash.
During the trial, she told the court: “I was a little bit late to pick my boys up. They suffer with anxiety and I felt the need to get there.
“I saw the tractor and I hit her. I’ve never hurt anybody in my life and I would never.
“I’m a mum and I would never have wanted to put anyone through this.
“We are both mums and I know what children go through.
“I’m so sorry this happened because I would never want to put anyone through this.”
Hove Crown Court heard compensation for the crash would be considered by a civil court at a later date.
Graham married the singer two years ago and now lives with him in a £1million country house with grounds nearby.
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, first exploded onto the music scene in 2016 with his hit single Human.
His first album was released in 2017 and became the fastest selling debut by a make artist in the UK for the decade.
At the 2017 Brit Awards, he was named British Breakthrough Act.
He also received a further Brit Award for Best British Single with the title track the following year.
Graham met his wife, who was working in a cafe at a rugby club near his home in Heathfield, in 2020.
The pair met just months after he had split from his ex-wife Beth Rouy after just six months of marriage – and later married in 2024.
