One young fan stole the spotlight at a recent Lainey Wilson concert.

According to WLWT5, 10-year-old Rylee Clark was attending her first concert at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Aug. 1 when she decided she wanted to sing alongside the country star.

Rylee, who has spina bifida, held up a sign that read, “This is my first concert I want to sing 4x4XU with you.” According to the Mayo Clinic, “spina bifida is a condition that happens when a baby’s spine and spinal cord don’t form properly in the womb.”

During each show, Wilson, 34, invites a young fan onstage and names them the official “Cowgirl of the Night.” That evening, she selected Rylee, whose performance with the singer soon went viral on social media.

“It’s your time to shine. Want to say hi to everybody?” Wilson told Rylee upon selecting her.

“Hey y’all,” Rylee replied before jumping into singing.

Speaking to the outlet after the show, the family reflected on what the moment meant to them.

“So she was born with spina bifida but it doesn’t stop her,” Rylee’s mom Casey told the outlet. “Especially with her attitude and her postiveness and just her being able to do it and not have any fear in the world and just go up there and rock it. It was everything I could to just hold tears back while she had her moment.”

For Rylee, the experience fulfilled a lifelong wish. “I want her to know she left me with my dream,” Rylee said.
