Niagara Falls to be lit pink in tribute to Dolly Parton tonight

The Niagara Falls Illumination Board will illuminate Niagara Falls in pink on Aug. 27, 2026, from 10:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. EST as a tribute to Dolly Parton, honouring her extraordinary contributions to music, entertainment and philanthropy.
Widely recognized as the “Queen of Country,” Parton inspired generations through her celebrated career as a singer-songwriter, actress and philanthropist. In 1995, she founded Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a literacy initiative that provides free books to children from birth to age five and has reached millions of families worldwide. Parton also shared a connection to Niagara Falls, having visited the destination and performed three sold-out shows at the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview Casino Resort in May 2007.
