A 17-YEAR-OLD WHO COULDN’T SLEEP NOTICED A CAR CRAWLING INTO AN EMPTY PARKING LOT BEFORE 5AM — THEN WATCHED ITS 76-YEAR-OLD DRIVER STUMBLE OUT AND ASK HOW TO REACH THE NEAREST HOSPITAL. The Alabama teenager immediately brought her a chair, called 911 and refused to leave her alone until paramedics arrived. Doctors discovered she had suffered a brain bleed and had somehow driven nearly 20 miles while barely aware of what was happening. Her family later retraced the ambulance route to find the stranger they believe saved her life — leading to an emotional reunion and one promise she made to him.
