The heartbreaking final sequence of events leading up to the tragic disappearance and drowning of three-year-old Noah Woods has been formally disclosed during an inquest hearing in Suffolk. Evidence presented by senior investigating officers provided crucial answers regarding how the toddler slipped away in a matter of moments despite a relative’s frantic attempts to catch up with him.
The disappearance had previously triggered a massive coordinated emergency response, drawing approximately 1,300 members of the public alongside specialist rescue units.
A Desperate Chase Through a Playground Gap
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Connick detailed Noah’s route to the court, piecing together security footage and eyewitness accounts:
