Colorado father was arrested after allegedly leaving his four-year-old daughter home alone in just a diaper with drug paraphernalia within her reach.

The child was spotted calling for help from a second-story balcony at a home in Boulder around 10.30pm on July 28.

When officers arrived, they were unable to enter the apartment via the front door as the girl was ‘too young to open it,’ according to Boulder Police.

Instead, they were forced to climb on to the hood of their patrol car before scaling the fence to reach the little girl.

‘Don’t break that,’ the little girl can be heard telling the officer in bodycam footage as he climbed over the fence.

‘I won’t break it!’ another officer said.

The officer can be heard banging on the glass sliding door, announcing himself, before the video cuts off.

Officers discovered plenty of marijuana and drug paraphernalia within the girl’s reach on the coffee table, police said in a statement.
